Meet Turk
I've been on the gym floor for 20 years. I've worked every job there is, from floor trainer to front desk, sales, and management, and at one point I owned my own studio. For the last decade I've been a fitness director in Texas's Rio Grande Valley, and I still coach clients in person every day. One of them has trained with me for 11 years, and now I train her daughter too.
The biggest lesson those years taught me is to train every session like it's the last one I'll get. Life happens, clients run late, plans change, so you make the hour you have count. The second lesson is that consistency beats intensity. Three average sessions will beat one great one every time.
I spend most of my free time still learning, because what worked 15 years ago isn't always what's proven now. I started Trainer App Stack after years of quietly reading the same question from other trainers: which coaching app should I use? There's no one right answer, so I wanted one place where trainers can compare them side by side and decide for themselves, along with the simple programs and tools that have worked for me.
